Up cycle

We are constantly creating things in order to destroy them on the time line of human life. « Up cycle » is a way to destroy an object, an artefact, on purpose in order to make it again in a new way. The moment of incidence become a sort of ritual, a special instant that allows me to stop the the time symbolically. There is an inherent beauty and attraction in chaos of things. This project in progress was born in Tohoku area, Japan. This area was partially destroyed by the tsunami in 2011. There I found some cup’s fragments on the ground. It appeared to me as some testimony of time and passed life. It was meant to be found. The project is in progress. It’s a life duration’s project.
